by Common Sense Canadian

My Sea to Sea and other groups fighting to save Howe Sound from a proposed LNG plant and dangerous tanker traffic are inviting citizens to join them on the water Saturday July 11.

“Are you ready to make some noise to Save Our Sound?” ask the Save Our Sound Day organizers.
“Vote with your boat and say NO to LNG tankers in Howe Sound!”

The flotilla will gather at Bowyer Island at 11 AM and travel along the proposed LNG tanker route.

WHEN: Saturday, July 11, 10:30AM-afternoon
WHERE: Bowyer Island, Howe Sound, Bowen Island

Organizers encourage participants to send hornblows to Premier Clark to let her know how they feel about the proposed Woodfibre LNG plant. Participants are asked to register by emailing sos@myseatosky.org with their planned departure point, number of guests and vessel – boat, kayak or paddleboard.
