July 3, 2016

Dear Friends,

Our flagship event, the 11th Annual Paddle for the Peace is almost upon us! We are thrilled with the fantastic response we have had to this event and look forward to seeing many of you up here in the Peace Country on
Saturday, July 9th.

*If you can’t make it to the Peace River, join a solidarity paddle elsewhere in the province!*

We realize that many of you cannot make it up for the Paddle in Fort St. John; however don’t despair, there are many solidarity paddles happening elsewhere in the province! We hope you can join others who care deeply about the Peace River Valley and the future of all British Columbians at one of the following events:

*Vancouver: Grab a Paddle Event, July 9th, Kits Beach*

- On July 9th, paddlers and supporters will gather for a solidarity march, paddle & community event with speakers, kayactivists, music and more!

- Meet at Vanier Park, 12:30 (kayaks, boats & stand-up paddleboards come at 12 noon) with flotilla and march to Kits Beach.
