Failure to stop Israel’s genocide of Palestinians gambles with the fate of humanity as a whole.
Following World War II, Albert Camus posed
a “formidable gamble” to those who had survived a tragedy of immense
proportions. “We’re in history up to our necks,” he observed, yet we must wager

says it was made aware ahead of time of the assassination of
high-ranking Hezbollah co-founding member and senior commander, Fuad
Shukr in Beirut last Tuesday, but was entirely ignorant of the attack

three men, so-called "high value" prisoners, who had struck a plea deal
for release after having spent decades incarcerated there. The deal for
alleged 9/11 mastermind, Khalid Shaikh Mohammad and two others, who
confessed to being behind the World Trade Center attack plot following
extensive "enhanced interrogation" sessions had their hopes of release
quashed in the eleventh hour by the American Secretary of Defense, Lloyd
Austin. Austin's interference has elicited reaction from both civil
liberties organizations, and constitutional scholars in the US.
Andy Worthington and resisting still the legal barbarism of the Global War on Terror in the second half.
But first, Dave Lindorff and has Israel slipped the American leash?
