The Holocaust in Gaza continues, and nearly two years on Israel's military continues targeting lawyers, engineers, journalists, professors, and all those people whose skills are required to operate a functioning society. Including nurses, ambulance drivers, medics, and those who brave precariously still-standing structures to dig out survivors of the ceaseless bombardment. And of course, Israel targets too the doctors who would treat the wounded.

Dr. Deidre Nunan is a Canadian orthopaedic surgeon who has spent years in humanitarian medicine, working in the field in Central and West Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean. She spent three weeks of her Summer in Nasser Hospital, Gaza, and is back home now telling Canadians from coast to coast to coast just what the cost of their nation's continued support of Israel means for the people where its bombs land.

And; it's not enough Canadian taxpayers are in league with the assassins of innocents in Palestine, they are too benefactors to an ongoing, home-grown propaganda and smear operation run for the benefit of the rogue state. Managing to squeeze three lies into a single sentence, HonestReporting Canada says it's an, "independent grass-roots organization promoting fairness and accuracy in Canadian media coverage of Israel and the Middle East..." and so apparently deserves charitable status. That, says my second guest, is a self-understanding needing more scrutiny from the Canada Revenue Agency.

Dr. Sean Tucker is Associate Professor of Human Resource Management in the Centre for Management Development, Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Regina. His primary area of research is occupational health and safety, and he's looked at the way HonestReporting Canada reports on Canadian journalists and considers it not only a demonstrable workplace hazard, but too an indefensible tax deduction.

While scores of thousands of individual Palestinians have been murdered since February 16th, 2024 without comment from the Canadian government, Global Affairs Canada took the unusual step last February 16th to commemorate the anniversary of the death of perennial turd in Vladimir Putin's punch bowl, Alexei Navalny. The politically nomadic Navalny, it may be remembered, was yet another alleged victim of Novichok, the supposedly deadly Russian nerve agent made famous for its repeated failures to kill Kremlin enemies.

No matter the fantastic twists of logic required to make the British government's case against Russia stick, supposedly intelligent outfits like the Brookings Institution still cleave to the proffered MI6 narrative.

Brookings operative, Angela Stent, writing in her obit for Navalny last year contends, "There is no doubt that the Kremlin is responsible for the death of Alexei Navalny. He died a slow death, beginning with his poisoning with the deadly nerve agent Novichok by the Russian Federal Security Service in 2020."

John Helmer's a journalist and author who’s spent decades living in and reporting from Russia. He’s the principle behind the web news site, Dances with Bears and has - as well as serving as advisor to governments at the highest level too been a professor of political science, sociology, and journalism.

Among Helmer's many book titles are: ‘The Man Who Knows Too Much About Russia,’ ‘The Lie That Shot Down MH-17', ‘Skripal in Prison,’ the Skripal sequel, 'LONG LIVE NOVICHOK! The British Poison that Fooled the World'. His latest is the newly released, 'The Navalny-Novichok Complex: Chronicle of a Staging'.
