Ken Boon is a Peace Valley farmer and president of the Peace Valley Landowners Association. He opposed the Horgan Dam for years and paid the price, being hit along with other protesters with a BC Hydro SLAPP suit. Boon says the proposed Site E revisits all its predecessor’s threats of harm to the people and environment of the Peace.

And; the prime minister has made no secret of his government’s determination to pound Canada’s ploughshares into spears, making of us an armed camp with an economy based on feeding the insatiable martial appetite of the Anglo-American Axis.
Only in power a few months, Mark Carney has already devoted a massive 5% of the country’s GDP to war and preparation for the forever wars of NATO, and its American masters.
Ken Stone is an activist and author who’s worked tirelessly for peace with the (formerly) Syria Support Movement International, now Sovereignty Support Mission (for West Asia), Hamilton Coalition to Stop the War, and Canada-Wide Peace and Justice Network. His book, ‘Defiant Syria: Dispatches from the Second International Tour of Peace to Syria’ is a compilation of reports from his 2016 mission to that then-besieged nation.
Ken and the Hamilton Coalition are girding their loins to take on the plans to make of their city a hub for armed drone production, hosting the symposium, ‘Don’t Put a Target on Hamilton!’ September 30th at the New Vision United Church.
But first, Ken Boon and the Site E deja vu dam.
