A prominent source in Fatah revealed that hundreds of Fatah members intend to hold a protest on Monday in front of the Palestinian Legislative Council in Gaza , against appointing Qorei to form the new government.
The source reported that Fatah members will protest against what was described as the “procrastination of Qorei in forming the government, and his insistence to keep current ministers who are involved in corruption cases”, which affects the support Fatah receives in the Palestinian society especially after the failing to win the latest municipal elections.
The demands of Fatah members are coherent with demands of Fatah legislative council members to Abbas in order to appoint someone else to form the government “otherwise it will not be able to conduct the needed fundamental reforms before the legislative council elections next June.
