Passing: Peace Activist, John Di Stefano

Local political activist John Di Stefano, passed away peacefully in his sleep early this morning (Monday).
He was in fine spirits and a good frame of mind the night before he died, but he was having a very tough time with his struggle against a reoccurring cancer.
For many years he's been a part of, or supported, a number of local, national and international solidarity organisations, often with sizable anonymous donations.
John was 85 years old and true to form is apparently going to bequeath much of his estate to various left wing charities and NGOs.
I only knew John for the last few years, so please forward this information to anyone else who you think should be informed of his passing.
