Travelling Canada's Carbon Corridor: The Making of Fractured Land
by Common Sense Canadian Plus
Watch this presentation by Damien Gillis, co-director of Fractured Land - a documentary in production which examines the industrialization of northern Canada through the eyes of a young indigenous man named Caleb Behn - at the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival. In it Gillis discusses the making of the film and the interconnected web of hydrocarbon projects in BC and Alberta designed to deliver coal, oil and gas to new markets in Asia - which he and his colleagues describe as "Canada's Carbon Corridor".
