Mi'kmaq Fracking Speaking Tour at UVic

Mi'kmaq Speaking Tour Thursday/Friday Feb. 6-7

Members of the Mi'kmaq Warriors Society who have been arrested and incarcerated will be on a speaking tour in January and February to raise awareness about their struggle against fracking, their ongoing assertion and exercise of nationhood, and the repression they face from police and courts.

Both events are FREE. Light supper will be provided at the Feb 6th BCGEU event, and snacks will be provided at the Feb 7th UVic event.

Accessibility info: Both events will have childcare. The venues are wheelchair accessible. Bus tickets are also available. Please help us provide a scent free event to accommodate people with chemical sensitivities.
