This non-political short and very atmospheric film is about the precarious lives of a group of remarkable, mostly elderly, Russian speaking civilians who are residents of the Donbass, living in areas not controlled by Kiev.

All the characters in the film – young and old – inhabit a neighborhood that is being shelled on a regular basis.
